I've never considered getting a pair of glasses in a shade close to my skintone. It looks great here, and is definitely something that I'll keep in mind when the next time I'm shopping for glasses.
Also, THAT COAT.
I like Fashion, and I like Social Networking. I think that the world would be a much better place if those two would do a few more collaborations with one another.

I'm honestly not sure if these are even sweatpants, but they are of the same silhouette as Bill Cosby's old sweatpants. I love this shape of pant and can't wait to get my hands on a pair. They'll look great with various types of below-the-ankle shoes and depending on the fabric they're made of this shape can be dressed up or down.
Tumblr has changed their Explore page and I like what's new.
It seems as though they're trying to encourage users to check out Tumblrs who reside outside of their usual circle of users that they follow or whose posts they come across via reblogs. Also, as the Mashable article points out, they are trying to get the rest of the web to take notice of what it's users are sharing by producing a Popular Tags list. If Tumblrs take advantage of this list, they may be able to drive some non-Tumblr traffic to their page.
But, what about those who already know about Tumblr yet aren't interested in signing up for a personal one? They've got no way to explore Tumblr any further than the blogs that they already follow. I'd suggest creating a real-time post feed, similar to Twitter's live Top Tweets page that greets visitors and returning users alike. If the home page showed a sample of the interesting bloggers on Tumblr as well as the posts that are travelling at the highest speeds through out it; it would give non-members something to browse without feeling pressured to sign up. It would also give the bloggers on Tumblr a leveled playing field on which to publicly display their blogs; which would be a welcome addition to reblogs, word of mouth and fighting within the trenches of Google's results pages.

Why would you share directly from the site rather than perform the usual Right-Click + Save dance? This method would come in handy if you ever find yourself blogging from a network that doesn't play nice with photo uploads (::cough::HatefulCollegeInternetConnection::cough::) or if you're blogging from your phone and would like to not navigate a file manager on a touch screen. Most importantly, it comes with a built-in link to the source of the photo so you don't risk not giving credit to where you lifted the photo in the first place.
This is one of those things that are so simple yet will change the way I accessorize greatly. I have sensitive skin that has so far proven to be allergic to all type of jewelry. If I were to just throw one of these on my wrist as a base layer for a watch or bracelet, the crisis would be averted!
Yet another reason to raid the scrap bin at the fabric store!
I like this idea, the knit cap with a party dress. It's perfect for the house parties one might attend where glam-ing it up may be a bit too much, yet is exactly the mood you're in when getting dressed that day. I may de-runway this look by using a knit cap that is more akin to Marvin Gaye's iconic cap and choosing patterns that at least look like they would even speak to one another.

This is something I can't wait to see all of the H&Ms, Topshops and F21s sell their own versions of. It has all of the qualities I look for in a piece: it's practical, polished and easy to reinterpret.

I like the idea of a maxi skirt with a sky-high split over a bodysuit. It would do really well on a dancefloor so I think I'll challenge myself to somehow make this work for a night out this summer. I can picture this combo looking great at a rooftop party, with a patterned sheer bodysuit and a solid skirt.
My new favorite instance of men's fashion for women is the Kanye slipper.
It seems as though with menswear, luxury is tied with comfort much more than it is within womenswear. This opportunity for a suitworthy slip on for women is well welcomed in my closet.
When I see outfits like this I immediately take a look at the separate pieces and see how many ways I can style them and how many unexpected situations I can wear them in. Should this skirt be reserved for formal events only? Should it be a part of a monochromatic ensemble only? Can I find a way to wear this to a latenight rooftop lounge party in the summer?
As ridiculous a path as these musings may follow, it's best to allow your brain to explore them. You're shortchanging the designer, the design and yourself if you stick to the instructions of each of these pieces. Some disclosure here: I've given many a side-eye to folks I've felt were over or under dressed in my day. But I still would rather be surrounded by people throwing themselves carelessly into fashion than those who've memorized that last issue of Vogue.
If you're not intending to have a say in the items you choose to wear, then why even bother putting any thought at all?
